When traveling to polish land, you need to obtain a visa. You can apply for a visa online via the Ministry of Economic and Business Affairs of Poland. There are no formalities to be followed, and you will get the full decision on the date and time of your visa. The process takes about 2 weeks maximum, and once you have the decision you'll be able to travel to poland and begin enjoying your stay. There are not any restrictions or stamps to buy, no need for onward travel, and visa on arrival is allowed.

To apply for a visa you'll need the essential documents. These are proof of identity, citizenship, and residence of eligible citizens of Poland, that has received an immigrant visa to another country. The application should be forwarded to the overseas embassy through the exact channels you used for the program. You may expect a decision within approximately fourteen days, and you can travel instantly after receiving your approval. All documents are sent by regular mail, so you won't have to worry about scheduling your trip or wasting time waiting for a response.

If you're from the Schengen area, or are permitted to work in the European Union, you can skip the program altogether and travel straight to polish territory. Polish authorities at the border won't check your passport when entering the country. But if you intend to live or work in the Schengen area, you will still need to have a valid passport. For the ones which don't have one of these documents in their possession, they can apply for a visa directly. As soon as you have received your visa, you can visit any Schengen-country airport, even international airports in different countries, provided that you carry your original passport.

You can apply for either a visa-free or electronic visa waiver. Both are rather simple to process and are available on all but the most difficult Schengen countries. The electronic visa waiver lets you skip the formal paper application procedure while still undergoing an in depth interview with a representative from the Polish immigration office. This interview process is extremely beneficial since it gives applicants a chance to ask any questions related to their desire to live or work in polish land.

On the flip side, visa-free Schengen visa programs allow you to enter the state for 90 days or less. You must have your original passport when applying for this program. After getting either visa, you can travel to the Schengen area, even when you simply have an electronic travel authorization, up to the 90 days maximum time period.
